I'm looking for information about this vintage 4-H wall pocket. It was purchased at an antique shop in South Dakota in 2010, and at one point, I was told these were sold as club fundraisers in the 50's. Based on the logo, I believe it post-dates 1948 when certain rules about the 4-H clover were adopted. The attached vintage pattern is dated 1949, and the uniform seems to match that worn by the girl on the wall pocket. Since wall pockets were most popular in the 50's, I assume it's from that decade, but I'd like to have the time period confirmed, know where it was made, and if it was a fundraiser, what county and state 4-H program sold them. It measures approximately 4" wide by 4.25" long and about 1.25" deep.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it's Dryden Pottery (KS) but it might alternately be one of the Dakota Potteries - Rosemeade, Dickenson Clay Products/Dickota, etc.

This was made by Rosemeade (Whapeton) of North Dakota. The 1950s is a good bet for the time period. They made many promotional items for various organizations and tourist attractions and were out of business by 1961.

Forgive my fumbling fingers - that should read Wahpeton (in case your trying to search).

Zack Dryden of Dryden Pottery has confirmed it's one of their pieces from the 1946-1956 period when the pottery was located in Ellsworth, KS. But I'd still appreciate any additional information anyone has. Thanks!
