This vase is in the décor called 'Pastel Decoupage' which can vary quite significantly even on one piece. The zig-zag rim is finished off with an applied crest in clear glass.
The same shape, minus the flamboyant rim, also appears in the Welz range of miniature hexagonal vases, as you can see in image four.

These zig zag rims are the best!! The decor goes perfectly with it too.
It is interesting how the flamboyant rim altogether alters your perception of the shape, or I think so.......
My favorite of the day on a shape from one of my favorite shape families. I agree that the rim crimp really changes the overall feel of the piece.
