I have quite a bit of photographic memorabilia from the Charity Newsies I've sold on ebay. It does pretty well. All of my motorcycle memorabilia comes from the same private collection. I don't know how well yours would do on ebay, but if you describe it well, I would think you would find out what a fair value is out there to ebayers across the country. I suggest you start the bid at 9.99 and be sure and put motorcycle award, charity newsies 1976 in title.

Ebay has its issues, but it is still the best marketplace to quickly sell anything.

You end up paying about 10% once you calculate the fees and another 3%, if you use paypal (NOT required, but you must have a method to accept online credit cards).

If you are concerned about the selling price you can put a reserve on your item.

Are there scammers out there-- sure, but they exist in any marketplace.

If you follow the procedures, you stand a great chance of having a SAFE and successful sale. Thousands of deals are done everyday on ebay and most buyers and sellers are honest folks looking to conduct honest business.
