    These match in my opinion, even though the bottoms are different.
    I wish I were a better photographer so you could see the iridescence these have. I feel certain they are blown glass due to a couple of bubbles I can see. But any guesses as to use, age, origin?

      Their purpose is to look pretty and make people wonder. ;)
      The left looks like a sugar-bowl, and the right I'd store tea in (and my mom would store flour!) as I have similar pieces. The glass looks so very thin (therefore, mean only for decorative purposes, which suggests somewhat modern) that I'd think within the lifetime of people here on CW. As for origin, who knows.

      I also thought apothecary jars, but changed my mind because of the etching or patterns. I've never seen a piece of Scandinavian glass that has bubbles, apart from bubbles that were intended.
