    we love our old antique sewing machine , My husband and i found it at an antique store and bought it on our first anniversary abourt 19 yrs ago ..lol we planned it to be used as a table in our new house since we had limited furniture . also a great conversation pc . patented 1886 serial # 12282241

      Thank you! Its so nice to see the different styles of Singer . We found an old picture in ours when we bought it . black and white pic of two lovely ladies , i'd love to know their story .. i've misplaced the photo but hope to come across it again some day.

      It's a VS2/model 27 with Sphinx decals, that dates to 1894, it has the gothic top sometimes called coffin top. It seems to be in good condition for the age, and the accessories look to be fairly complete.
