    Made in Quebec Canada
    Probably made in the 20 30s
    The market guys used them to wrap nice pieces of furniture so they wouldn't get scratched.The back is black hard fabric.

      The penny refers to the different shapes of our pennys . At about the time that this rug was made there were two types of pennies in circulation, the large cent and the small. I just posted another quebec style rug Cats tongue or L'angue de chat.
