Less than 1/2 the size of a CDV. Maybe this size photo is for a work I.D badge,. With hat showing it is much larger than a locket photo.
I love her outfit. She is a TINY woman with a huge hat which seems too large for her.
Maybe she is Italian, Greek, Black, or another tan skinned individual
Very pretty, dainty, and so well dressed..back says "Minerva M. Sesson" Would make a great "nanny" I think, because she is little, and looks like fun. "Minerva Poppins"!
Now days, buying a collar and wearing it is a lot different than the bought-separate collar she has on. LOL.
I made a mistake She has no brooch at her neck In enlargement here I can see more clearly. The high collar looks really uncomfortable!

Her hat looks uncomfortable too. But she looks so sweet in it!!
Perhaps some of the current styles that people wear in 2017 would also
appear odd and uncomfortable if shown to people of the year 1900.
