Model B Aladdin floor lamp with a new fluted shade from aladdin called John Paul. Just got the shade in and it really makes the lamp look great. Most of these floor lamps came with paper shades in the 30's and did not last long.

Hello, I just aquired a lamp very much like this. Mine has a square base and a glass shade supported by a wire hanger. I was curious as to the value of this lamp. Any ideas to how much it would be worth? Thank you for your time. Mark Strandberg

Does the bottom of the base say "aladdin"? Should have makers mark on it. If you post a picture of it on her under unsolved mystery, I'm sure someone will be able to identify it.

I'm so impressed with your Aladdin floor lamp and I would love to have one. I have a very old electric floor lamp that has a base and column similar to yours. Do you think it would be possible to remove the electrical light section and replace it with an oil lamp font and aladdin burner? Thanks for your time... Judy
