    Hi can anyone help,the date and manufacture.very fine engraving very fine glass no stamps or labels top fits perfect so I think it belongs to the decanter.

      I don't recognise the pattern, however, I suspect the stopper and decanter didn't start life together. Usually those types of decanters have hollow stoppers with a pattern similar to the body of the decanter. ALso looking at the picture it looks the the inside of the neck has a polished section where the peg fits and the peg of the stopper is rough. If it is like that, it is just a no, they don't go together.
