True barn find Colson girls bike. A friend at work told me there was a old bicycle hanging in her barn and asked if I wanted to buy it. Turns out it belonged to her elderly mother in law Edna and she had gotten it used years ago. It was stored high in the barn years ago which saved it. I have been on a streak of finding girls bikes lately but I don't take them apart and sell them. I restore them. They have survived all these years without being destroyed. I already have this one stripped and in primer. The wheels will be re laced with stainless spokes. The original paint was blue and I will have it matched. Re chroming will be done. The leather seat has been cleaned and is in great shape. Yea, I will put more money into it then it is worth to some people, but when I take it back to the farm to show Edna, it will be worth it.
