This is a very old wood clock or movements to a larger clock. I just have never seen anything like this. This is very old wood and has 3 layers of movements and pieces. I have no idea what it is no markings on wood or movements. Any Idea??

Possibly a German "wag on the wall" or a shield clock. It's missing the chains, weights, pendulum, side cover panels, dial, and hands. While the movement looks intact, it will require a complete breakdown to remove rust and corrosion from the metal and brass parts.
This movement was made in the Black Forest during the second half of the 19th century.
