Model 765 from 1971 subtly sports the "Tele-Vision" brand molded into the white plastic just below the gold frame. This was likely the final update of that iconic design as the Pennwood Electric Company was sold the following year to the Spartus Corporation. Several of the Pennwood "Numechron Tymeter" models were produced for a few more years bearing the Spartus name but they faded away quickly with the advent of electronic digital clocks.

Model 765 looks a little less like an actual television set than its popular and top-selling Model 700. The 700, aside from looking like the TV it was sitting on, features a light that not only illuminates the dial(?) but projects light out the clear back - those of us old enough to remember black-and-white television know why (it's the same reason they made TV lamps).
