Does anyone know anything about pearl earrings from this era and manufacturer. These belonged to my great great grandmother who lived in India from 1895 onwards. Just wanted to know a bit about the qaulity of the pearls and what they would be worth at an estimate. They were made by Cooke & Kelvey of Calcutta, New Delhi and Lahore.

Very Pretty Pearl Earrings. Look like a nice golden hue, which are more desirable in older pearls than the white or pinkish colors more commonly seen today. Are the earrings marked 14K Gold or Silver/925 or Sterling? That will give you more of an idea about the value. Better quality cultured pearls are often chosen to be set in a carat gold.
