These are part of a collection of photos and photo postcards that I purchased a few years ago. They are 1915-1917 All taken in Canada, most of them are from Deseronto a training center for air cadets from Britain and Canada. They were boys , young men ready to die and many did some say for their country I say for the world. The wagon crew is great, notice the goat. And the one of the pilot standing on the wing. The horseshoe didn't help "Lundy's Lane". There are 75 to 100 photos cards in this collection.

They made it through another day. My son-in-laws grandfather flew in the Lancasters, didnt talk much about it but did say they never asked each other their last names , because too many never came back. His job was in the bubble firing away.
