You are fortunate to have glass blowing friends Eye, not because they give you great art, but because you can be involved in the whole creative and physical process of glass blowing.
I love the fine black lines flowing over the yellow, and the shape of that spatter vase is fantastic.
Karen, thanks:) his wife Kim helped me decide on the yellow piece, pointing out how nice the pulls turned out. I could only afford one piece this time and after talking to David, he said he wanted me to have the other one as a gift. It was a favorite of his and he knew I loved it and he wanted to know that the right person had it. I was, to say the least, very overwhelmed by his kindness. This family and associates are masters and would hope they consider me a friend, but in no way would I suggest any involvement in the glass making precess.
I would be happy just to bathe in the aura of the process!
I love them both, they are both different and very beautiful, nice things get given from nice people to! nice people!...:-)
