This cool rare piece is an 1863 1cent not a penny, C.Doscher one cent token. This coin is very fine plus condition and shows great detail. I got this in a cigar box buy for cheap. The person who sold me the coins told me they were all indian heads. I was pleaseantly surprised to find this piece in the group. A civil war era coin in this condition is hard to find. On the back of the coin it says C. Doscher, not one cent,241 washington st. N.Y.

From what I could find these are rated to scarcity. These I believe are rated R2 with R10 being the rarest. I think from what I could find R2 meens there are anywhere from 2000-5000 to exist. These coins like others have value based on condition and rarity. I love mine.

Thank you.....I have a 1863 "Not On Cent" token that has "Lady Liberty" wearing a headban with "Liberty" printed on it. I would be very interested in any historical information you have. The history of old coins and their design is the most interesting facture to collecting for me. That they have value is just a nice addition.
      Thank You Again
