This revolver belongs to the first Inspector of Police of the National Territory of Misiones, in the Argentine Republic. Misiones was declared as a Province in 1953, during the govern of Juan Peron.Misiones is a Province with the same jungle of the Amazonas, and in the early decades of the XX century this place was the same that the American Far West. The letter from S&W says that it was sold in April of 1907. The revolver is ok in all aspects. I live in Buenos Aires, Republica Argentina.

Very nice find. It's also good to have a "LETTER" with it.
