From a local century farmhouse, since lost to fire comes this fine quality
French bronze ashtray. Can't be certain of date but they were manufacturing tanks as early as 1927 possibly a little earlier. They made Chevrolet truck bodies in ww2 apparently as Beath and Son . I cleaned it with Ammonia /dish detergent 1:1. It will dull in a month or so but this method is non abrasive.
