hi we have here i believe a late 19th century blue & white Japanese incense burner
a flea market find many moons ago
height 5 1/4 inches width 4 1/2 inches depth 2 1/4 inches

My feeling is this is Japanese. 3 toed dragon, cherry blossoms.
The greek key or meander border has been used by both the Chinese and Japanese.
I can't clearly see the characters in the box on the bottom, but they look katakana to me, the more archaic form of Japanese script.
