this goblet caught my eye at a flea market the person just about gave it to me i was wondering what the value of it would be it has a year engraved in the bottom 1957 let me know what it is and if its worth anything

It looks to be silverplate.
It is hard to provide much else without more details/ close up pictures: Is there makers information on the bottom? What is the size.
I am not sure it is a "goblet". Also the "1957" maybe the numbering for this particular piece as opposed to the year.
