    There are no makers marks or any signatures... seemed odd that someone spent so much time and would not mark it.... has anyone seen anything like this before? Bought it from a guy who inherited it from his grandfather 30 years ago.

      The Star and Crescent is the symbol for the country of Turkey.

      This may have been custom produced for someone from that nation.
