It looks like a decorators accessory item.
I don't see any gear or sprocket to engage the wheels with the pedals, nor do I see any indication that there ever where any components to make this a functioning bike.
Scott
Defiantly a decorator piece.
Thank you guys very much.
scottvez and oilman514, I think you are both missing what looks like a drive unit similar to a pedal car.....enlarge the middle photo and see if you don't agree.
@pirates life1969, could you give us a better set of pic of the link system and attachment to the rear hub..?
Can you ride it? I see what you are talking about but the way its put together it still looks like it doesn't function. Never seen a bike with wooden seats either. Frame doesn't look as if it would be able too hold much weight. But then again I'm often wrong so maybe it is a early bicycle .
Pops, I see what you are talking about. I didn't see that in the photos when I first looked.
I still think it looks very flimsy. The seats look rediculous.
I am sticking with it being a decorators piece, but I could be wrong?
Scott
You may be truly correst but it sure would be fun to see close up....it is very interesting...Nice display for now anyway..
