the color of this bowl is great. it is done in the marigold carnival color and basketweave design. it has a great open edge. this piece was made by the Fenton Art Glass Co. sometime befor 1970 because it is not marked. im not sure of the exact date....early i think? nonetheless it is a great piece.

Wow! thanks Mrj303, i had no idea it was that old. the hobnail pattern is my area of expertise. haha thanks again!
I seen a topaz decanter on a popular auction website today with a dark blue handle and stopper and thought of you haha
i know that there is one on EBay now....the bid was up to $100 when i saw it, glad i purchased mine along time ago for such a good deal.... i bought it at a local shop for $50 so i think i got a good deal on it. the decanter is a great piece....it would look STUNNING in your collection Mrj303!
I would LOVE it, you have no idea! But I don't have that budget right now, one day.....
ugh... i know about that budget issue, luckily me and my wife have the extra money so we can purchase glass and add it to our collection. i really should stop adding pieces to the collection... i spend $2000 a month on glass and there is so much more i could do with the money. haha but i guess the glass bug has bit me and i dont know how to escape it.
