Sound, what an amazing sound reproduction, this and the EMG were the best, even today when I play this machine, it never fails to please. The re entrant 202 is said to sound better, but I don't have one to compare it to my 193, one day maybe.
The 193 has the #34 four spring motor and the #5A orthophonic reproducer. The horn chamber is 52" long 480.81 square inches at the mouth. The cabinet is made of Oak.

I am just amazed at how great this unit sounds, I never heard of an HMV 193. I have a Victor Victrola and also a Columbia Grafonola, neither sound anywhere near what this machine produces
