Hi. Does anyone recognise this character? Someone has said he is based on a comic strip character, possibly from the 1950's but I can't seem to find him. I don't know how old he is. He is solid filled and his limbs, head and curly tail are jointed with metal spikes. One of his arms is very loose. He was given to me as a present when I left my previous job, but the giver didn't know anything about him. Or is he a her?
The cape and waistcoat come off, but he is sewn into his pants/trousers.
There is no label. His padded feet have red felt but are plain.
Can anyone please give me a name and date for him?
