Rustic red or brown clay vase mystery

Hello all,

I found this rather rustic vase yesterday the clay is very rough on the outside and a medium brown color. The vase has a very distinct footprint that I haven't seen before with the letters MC stamped. No glaze on the outside, some glaze on the inside.

7 1/4" tall

Anyone have a clue?
