leather fire hat, scarborough 7 engine. Has detailed scrolling around brim and some cracking. lining is there but not in good shape. trying to find out more info as to history and value. This hat was in a storage unit I purchased at auction.

Scarborough, Maine Engine 7, Oak Hill Fire station. I was a member here in 2000-2001 while attending college in the area. The firehouse is located at 246 US Route 1 Scarborough, Maine. What a great find!!!!! This is a Cairns and Brother leather "New Yorker" fire helmet (N5A)
