FOR ME, this is a real find; my best acquisition this year! I've seen some great units, but they were either too small or too expensive. As one can see, the photos were taken at the antique mall from where I bought the piece. I will add better photos, later.
I'm attracted to any type of "storage" piece: filing cabinets, printer's cabinets, etc, or any piece that has that potential. I'm not sure how I'll use the mailbox unit, yet. It's a bit bigger than what I really want, but we'll see if it works out for me. Any ideas, anyone?
I'd be appreciate if anyone could offer any information on this piece.

Ok this is just too much fun. Congrats on finding it.
Clean it up and use it as a wine rack to store your wine bottles.Hope this helps.
I want a smaller piece but, the ideas I have for one may be useful. I have thought of usinf them in a teens room, for storage, for girls things like nail polish, necklaces, you know girl stuff, boys room, for all the little treasures they collect, in a living room for a display of minatures ( old small toys, cups and saucers, etc.) In a Kitchen as a spice holder, salt and pepper shaker collection, even as a cool kind of auto mat pantry...Or in a sewing room for supplies, craft room for the same...
