Picked this up at a wee op shop two days ago.. Has a hallmark i cant read .. Possibly 14K585 But after some research i habe determined it is vintage ivory

Very nice and clever way to show it off. 14k & 585 are numbers for gold content. If you already knew that, no worries, I mix things up by always doing too many things at once myself ;) I bet that bracelet has some good weight to it if it's solid!
How have you tested it?
No i have not had it tested yet, soon :) but from what i can tell this is a vintage pre ban ivory that had 14k gold wire wrapped around.. The gold wire is missing though.. But i have seen identical ones with and without the gold wire.. Was hard to make out the hallmark but 99% sure thats what it says
Put a magnifier directly against the camera lens and focus through the magnifier. We need to see the mark. It will also help to see the crosshatching in the ivory.
It definately says 14K585 but unfortunately my phone camera is pretty crap so couldnt get a focused photo

I couldnt see the lable on the pic you put up but im sure that is the same band as mine (bit with the gold) ill add another photo of the hallmark but it wont be clear. :)

It definately is winter (-4'c) last night i think and its lunch time and still maybe around 8' sun is shining though :)

No i dont want to pay to have it tested.. Pretty sure i know what i have here now after research and with the hallmark 14K585 :)
