I got these two items recently and I'm not quite sure where to find info on them or what brand they are can someone help?

There's really not much to go on with this two plates. The one on the left is a piece of transfer ware. Not hand painted. Too bad there's no "Made in..." information on the other one. It's a four sided plate with gold edging and beautiful painting of fruit in the middle. Apart from the unusual shape, there are hundreds of like plates.
