The watch says GRUEN above the hands, 17 JEWELS above 6 o'clock and SWISS MADE below 6 o'clock on the face. The back says
GRUEN
BASE METAL BEZEL
ST. STEEL BACK
and GRUEN on the stem.

The band is TWISTON USA. Pretty sure the band isn't original to the timepiece. Yep just looked closely and band isn't original.

Any thoughts, ideas?

I really like this style ! My mother past away 3 weeks ago and I got her old jewlery, I came across my grandmothers old Gruen watch. I have never heard of this brand and Ihave been trying to find a site that has some really good info. The watch is some what like yours, any ideas on how to find out values or more phots ??
