My husband and I have had this mandolin for years and we can't figure what year it is or what kind of mandolin it is. We have tried a search online and have come up empty handed. All we know is that its an 8 string bow back that has the numbers 21412 on the top of the neck and the word Monogram with a symbol on the other side. If anyone can give us any information to help us out we would appreciate it.

I just found some odd information on this as well. I looked up Monogram and 21412 and noticed its Monogram, Maryland 21412. I'm even more confused now. I don't know if anyone can help or not but I'd really like to figure this out....The pink that you can see on the mandolin is frosting my son grabbed it just before I took the picture :S
I looked up "Monogram+Mandolin" using Google & came back with several hits on "Bauer Company" Mandolins. Here is an Ebay auction of one:

Could you post some much more detailed images? Does it have a sticker/label inside the body? (Look inside the hole). Good luck!
I will definitely post more, but it doesn't have anything inside and no stickers or spots where a sticker once was. Thanks for your help. I'll get those on today :)
Here is one that sold on eBay, May 15, 2011 for for $125
