The Title of the book is A Primary History Of The United States. The Author is Thomas Bonaventure Lawler. It was published by Ginn and Company, Pro-Prietors in Boston, U.S.A. The Athenaeum Press. In 1934. That is all the information I can find on this book and I would like more. As you can tell the book is in rough condition. What I really want to know if it would be worth it to keep and protect this book for my son when he gets older he is currently 2. Please Help.

Based on title, condition and publisher it appears to be a school text book.

Sorry, but in that condition the book is worthless.

I don't want to sell it but what I want to know is if it would have any educational value, and if it would be worth keeping for my 2 year old to have when he gets older?

The book may have some educational value, but some information may be incorrect or irrelevant due to age.

There are a number of things that make something "valuable" to someone. The author, the illustrator, or the subject may increase value. A connection to a family member or friend may do the same. Put the information you have in the google bar and see what you find. Unless it is connected to your childhood, I would probably pass. Here is a price guide from ABE.com
