THESE WERE MADE AS EXPIRIMENTAL CAN DURING THE WAR. THERE IS NO METAL AT ALL IN THE CAN. MAKE YOU WONDER HOW THEY OPENED IT. THIS PARTICULAR TYPE OF CAN WAS SENT TO THE SOUTHEAST U.S.,,ALSO, WONDER WHY WE WOULD NEED "ARTIC SPECILA" DOWN HERE IN THE SOUTH.THE 2ND PICTURE SHOWS WHERE THE PATENT WAS APPLIED FOR.
