inherited from my father's parents, she worked at the Woldorf Astoria hotel in New York, she recieved it as a gift from a patron who was living at the hotel, just had it professionaly restored, it looks like new and sounds better than our own stereo system, love it very much, I can just imagine the programs and news stories that must have come across the air waves to this radio
