I inherited this bottle from my mother. I have to believe that someone in the family purchased it because of its resemblance to my grandfather’s violin that he made. I’m told the viobot is of European origin, possibly France, Italy or Czechoslovakia. They were produced in the 1930s-40s and they came in blues, greens, and ambers. Apparently viobots are very popular and there are many collectors who are involved with their websites, magazines, clubs, and events.
