I bought this from the estate of an early Californian in 1976, and have worn it on my antique black velvet I. Magnin evening jacket all of these years. It really has the Lalique look. I have assumed it is all glass, and sometimes I wonder if the green might be emeralds. The little black "stone" under the rose piece may be jet. 4.2 x 6.3 cm. I welcome facts and opinions.

This is beautiful, sorry I do not know anything about it - I just saw it and had to say something.

I tend to agree about the frosted crystal pieces, although you should remember that Lalique was so famous and so popular that there were knock-offs all over the planet. The "black piece" is almost surely black glass or black agate (AKA onyx). The triangular faceted stones are both the wrong color and are much too clear to be emeralds. The one on the pendant appears to have lost one of its points, and this may mean that it is glass. If it is a gemstone, its blue-green color might mean that it is aquamarine, although the stones are perhaps a bit dark for aquamarine. It's a lovely piece, and I would think a black velvet jacket would be the perfect place to display it, although that garment ladies term the "little black dress" might also work.

It is beautiful. I wonder if the green might be Cryophase? I have a deco piece posted, and some jewelers told me the green is Cryophase, and the color is very similar to mine. Enjoy, and I'm glad you wear it!
