I recived this Air Chief radio as a house warming gift from my grandmother. I belive it is a 37-38 model. it is a shortwave/am radio. The AM radio works great, i have not been able to get the shortwave to work. The on/off switch on the left spins freely but works with a pair of plyers. The rag cover was replaced with an od piece of cloth.
I was hopeing that someone would be able to tell me what i have. i have not been able to find one like it on the internet which leads me to believe it was a custom order. i would also like to know what kind of value i can place on it. I have estimated about $100 - $150 based on some ebay auctions.
