This is a beautiful old mens pocket watch in the original case that a friend inherited. The movement is in mint condition.

I just now posted the case for the watch, but was unable to open the back. I'll have to take it to a jeweler as I do not want to damage it.
I'll eventually get it done!!
What a shame that the crystal is broken, I hope your jeweler can put anew one in for you..Great watch and case.......

I hope you are still here seeing as though this is 2 yrs old. Did you ever figure out the type of watch? I have the exact same watch inherited from my great grandfather. Mine has an inscription with a date of 6-15-1947 so I know it was a fathers day gift and that is it. I also have the same case but my case is damaged but my watch is in really good shape with a small scratch on the crystal it winds and runs perfectly (at least to me im no expert.)
