This is a rare Marklin Barvarian Briefcase z-guage set. Complete with four cars including the engin, runs on battery, fully operational.
This set is virtually in mint condition, appx age is 10 yrs. Complete with a lockable (with keys) leather briefcase.
All the buildings, figures, landscapeing, is intact.
Can anyone help by providing the value of this item. I have see similair ones by other makers but not a Marklin.

Beautiful little Marklin z scale layout. I would estimate the value of the set (engine and cars in box ) to be at around $200.00 max. I have not seen this particular set on eBay as of yet. Your whole set would be around $300.00 to $350.00. This is based on what I see selling and not selling on eBay. Hope this helps.
