I have this original photo 32 " long by 9 " tall dated
march 4th 1929. Underneath the photo it reads.....Lafayette Republican Drill Team & Drum Corps attending inaguration March 4th 1929 photographed at Mt. Vernon Va. photo is signed by King Robinson and marked #3.
I can't find much out about the Drill & Drum Corps from the time. I'm assuming they were at Herbert Hoovers inaguration on March 4th 1929.
Anybody know anything about this photo or maybe what historical society I could contact to find out more about it.
