Yet, another Tobacco tin, this time a familier Name. Got it for 15 bucks, maybe worth 10. Paid way too much...

Thanks OfficialFuel, and regg243 for the wake up call. I do enjoy it, and it's a nice addition to my tin collection.

No info on age or value, just that I started smoking Lucky's in the early 1950s and do not remember a tin for Lucky cut plug.I do remember a tin for Fatima cigerettes-seemed to me it held 50 smokes.Back in the day I don't remember having age restrictions on tobacco purchases probably was but it seemed that almost everyone was smoking.Copenhagen was 10 cents and it seemed to me that Lucky's were 15 cents maybe a quarter-I was making 49 cents a hour.

Just looked at your collection of Coke items,I was in the grocery business for over 43 years.Received many items that were considered "premiums"from the Coke salesman. The only thing I have held on to is a cookie jar that is in the shape of a brown jug.Have looked many times at various "coke" sites but have never seen a cookie jar like the one I have.If I knew how would post a picture of the cookie jar for you to view. Thanks for posting your collection.

Great Piece !! I live the next town over from Reidsville NC where the cigs were made..i.e. 7miles. The cigs & tins are not as popular as you would think as far as people having stuff in local feas, sales, antique stores for sale! so I think its a great bargin at your price...I wouldn't have left it for $20 !
