I was placed in Italy on assignment in May of 2009, in June of 2009 my wife arrived. One of our earliest discussions we had was what each other wanted to bring back State side at the end of our tour. She chose a coffee maker I chose a Vespa. Little did she know how serious I was, two months before our departure I came across this 1983 Vespa. Whats unique about this particular Vespa is the fact that it sat from the late 90's until I purchased it back in March. Its all original except for the side covers which have been repainted. It runs like a new one. I have the title and complete tool kit that came with the scooter back in the 80's. This vespa was built in the Piaggo plant in Piza Italy. I shipped it in my house hold goods like any other motorcycle. The Owners wife drove it back and forth to school when she was a kid, it even has the pink "Elizebeth" key chain as a key ring.
