This ring looks handmade to me, so there is very little I can do to research. I was just wondering if anyone had seen this particular mark or could give me an idea of the time period. Since the 18k seems to be an american mark, I am stumped by the kanji type of asian characters stamped in the ring. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe your ring was made by a Chinese jeweler and the stamp in Chinese characters denote the shop name. My grandmother has jewelry with markings similar to what is on your ring. I'm guessing that jewelers that catered to both Chinese and English speaking clients made your ring. If you're able to contact a similar store in or around your area, you might be able to find out more about your ring. As to a date? It looks kind of old fashioned, but very pretty. Uh, 75-90 years old? I really don't know.
