I work on clocks and a friend of mine brought in her Majestic grandmother clock. The clock works are electric and there is a tube type radio built in just below the clock. I have never seen one like it and would appreciate any information I could get on it. If anyone could give me an approximate value on the clock I would really appreciate it. It is in great shape. Thanks

beautiful piece...I'm also on the lookout for who made my clock radio. I figured out the clock but the radio is still a mystery. The radio needs a rebuild and a speaker. The clock works perfect.
Now this is a clock radio ... ;0
The radio is made by Grigsby Grunow and is called the Sherwood. The chassis is a model 15 from 1931. http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/grigsby_gr_sherwood.html
As for the value, that depends on who you can find that wants to buy it. I've seen them go for as much as $1,000.00 and for as little as $50.00.
