This beautiful set of fine china has been in the family for years -- 100?. I'm hoping to identify the pattern and find out more. The dish shown is a SMALL plate -- perhaps even a saucer. (It's been a couple years since I unpacked and took this photo) The dishes are BOTH cream and white china with gold banding. I have service for six with serving pieces... the salt and peppers are so sweet! Contemplating taking them to Bonham and Butterfields (here in Los Angeles) for appraisal. Better ideas?

I also have a set of 12 with serving pieces of Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria China. My set has the wide gold band but only one narrower band. The patterned embossing of the wide gold band is a vining floral. The mark on the back is the crown and cross sword with selb-bavaria but mine also has a gold seal with pickert. Still searching
I have what I think is a cake plate with 7 dishes. The motiff is of pinecones with a gold band. the mark on the back is the crown & cross sword with selb-bavaria. I too am still searching.
Go to these people put a picture to them and ask them to tell you what pattern this may be. Let me know, I use them and 2 other, I am china collector and just love different patterns, and I use them all. I love Wedgewood, Lennox...
