Here is a vintage 1940's whirligig of a man sawing a log. The paint is weathered, but the man still cuts his wood.

I love it! The woodcutter is excellent! Sometimes I think I should plant a garden of just whirlygigs!

When I lived in Bitburg, Germany the Feur Haus (fire dept.) haus and amazing lanscaping of whirligigs, windmills, streams, mill wheels and ponds all made out of carved wood and were all connected like a Rube Goldberg machine. Love it!
