For years I collected American shades, particularly NUART. At one point I decided to switch to Czech shades--far more difficult to find, and far more expensive, since they were always tagged "Loetz", with the corresponding price tag.
But patience does pay off. I found R. Williamson catalogs which offered color illustrations of "Teplitz" shades and I was lucky to find some of my shades in them. Others were sheer luck. The first pair carries a Krasno label. I have two other sets: frosted amber and clear amber.
The third picture comes from a Williamson catalog. The pink pair is ribbed (like Kralik vases from the same production years) and the larger petals have an embossed grape/vine design.
I have also been able to match shades to the corresponding vases. So far, my shades seem to be all Kralik and Pallme Konig.
By the way, fitter chips are OK. Remember they were held with screws!
