Don't know alot about this radio. Got it pretty cheap, the cabinets in good shape, although the dial face was pretty busted up when it arrived. Plays great, but the volume control needs some work, it dosen't kick in until about half volume, and its loud!

This Grunow 566 was made in 1937 by a company called General Household Utilities. See more here: http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/general_ho_grunow_566_ch_5_s.html
I would imagine the volume control needs cleaning with a contact cleaner you can get at any electronics store.
