    This is my favorite jar I display in my country kitchen.I love the eagle on the front and the hinge to close the lid. It's proudly "Made In The U.S.A." When the sun shines through the window, the blue is displayed all over the wall...

      Hi Cindy, your jar is a reproduction made specifically for the bicenntial in either 1975, 76 or 77-look on the bottom of the jar it will have one of those three numbers indicated which of the three years it was produced. There will be another number-mine has A20 which indicates what machine it was produced on. My jar is one of my favorites too!

      This is a commemorative jar made by Ball for the bicentennial. As such, it is not really considered a reproduction.
